Pedal for Kids 2017

Marie Guay puts her heart and soul into organizing the “Pedal for Kids” fundraiser every year. This year, we’ve asked her to share her insights about the 2017 event.

I know that ACCEO employees are very proud to work for a company with strong corporate social responsibility values. I also know that my colleagues support these values, collectively and individually, which is why I want to share with you the great experience we had last June 13. On that day, the executive team, several colleagues, and I pedalled through the streets of downtown Montreal riding the Mighty Bike for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Children’s causes are particularly important to us and “Pedal for Kids” is one of the charitable activities that ACCEO has chosen to support. It is truly a rewarding to be a part of this event, which encourages employee engagement and extends our social reach!

ACCEO’s association with the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation began 16 years ago. Over the years, our donations have contributed to providing sick children with access to new equipment and experimental treatments.

For 2017, ACCEO raised $19,297 during the “Pedal for Kids” event. During the 16 years that ACCEO has partnered with the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, we have raised more than $250,000. Impressive!

Through our donations, either by pedalling or raising money, we have all contributed to the success of this event. So thank you everyone! And see you next year!
